There are many patients who are suitable for home care but require a more intense level of care or continuous care. In fact, many of them require care for major portions of every day, if not 24 hours a day. Included are:
Technologically Dependent Patients
- Respiratory conditions treated by ventilators or Infusion.
Functionally Disabled Patients

- Mentally disabled patients
- Patients with compromised ability to perform daily living activities
Our Private Duty Division provides skilled nursing and certified nursing assistant services from 4 hours per day up to 24 hours per day! Services included:
SKILLED NURSING
Wound Care-Burns, traumatic wounds, stasis ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, obtain blood and other specimens and monitor lab values. We also apply Wound V.A.C. which assists in wound closure by applying localized negative (sub-atmospheric) pressure to help promote wound healing.
Diabetic Care-Medications/Insulin, skin care, diet, foot care, teach self injection, monitoring blood glucose levels-fasting and A1C levels.
Infusion Therapy - a means of supplying patients with necessary treatment and intravenous medication at home, including antibiotics, fluids, steroids, chemotherapy, IVIG, Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), obtain blood specimens and monitoring lab values, central venous catheter lines, implanted venous ports and PICC lines.
Enteral Feedings - Intermittent and continuous, nasogastric, transabdominal, obtain blood and other specimens and monitor lab values.
Ostomy Care - Promote independence in care by instructing the patient on application of appliance, diet, irrigation or ostomy and skin care.
Bowel, Kidney and Catheter Care - Assure patient independence by instructing on special diets, preventing constipation and maintaining urinary continence, Instructing in catheter care, preventing complication and self cauterization if required.
Cardiac Care - Congestive heart failure, post-op rehab, post-MI rehab, obtain blood and other specimens and monitor lab values. PT INR drawn and immediate results available. Education of the patient and care givers with the Living with Heart Failure Program.
Orthopedic Care - Orthopedic post operative wound care and rehab services including arm, spine, hip and knee, as well as, post op podiatry services. CPM or Continuous Passive Motion machine during the postoperative rehabilitation period for patients who have received a total knee arthroplasty or replacement as an adjunct to on-going physical therapy (PT), Education of the patient and care givers with the Joint Replacement Hip and Knee Program and SureStep Program (Fall Prevention)
Respiratory Care - Pulse Ox, oxygen, CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) is a method of respiratory ventilation used primarily in the treatment of sleep apnea, Bi-PAP (Bi Level Positive Airway Pressure air delivered through a mask can be set at one pressure for inhaling and another for exhaling), ventilators, chest tubes, tracheotomies, obtain blood and other specimens and monitor lab values.
Neurological Care - CVA, TIA, stroke, seizures, neurological disorders and disease management, obtain blood and other specimens and monitor lab values.
*Included in every visit is a complete systems assessment including the patient's physical condition and response to treatments and medications, a home safety evaluation and teaching and training of disease processes and self care to the patient and care givers.
Certified Nursing Assistants

(Bathing, Dressing, Ambulation)
